Here is a quiet summers evening at low tide at Saltwick bay

Ruswarp mill

Somehow it feels like cheating when you have such a beautiful scene just 200 yards from the house. This is the mill at Ruswarp on a hazy morning from just above the weir. I had originally wanted to put moored boats in the foreground ( or should that be forewater) but this would have detracted from the peaceful mood of the picture.

Slightly different angle on Whitby

I came back after a early dawn at Robin Hood's Bay to find Whitby being soaked in a warm glow. I like this view and might try it again without the buildings in the foreground.
