Poverty Hill

I went out chasing sunsets the other week in the snow, by the time I got to Egton the sun was too low for anything decent so I carried on towards Danby. To my dismay the snow ran out. However the colours that lit up as the sun went down were fantastic. Although it’s been another brain frying couple of days I think I’m going to use this as my lead picture for my Easter show at the Grosmont Gallery.

Quiet dawn at St. Mary's lighthouse

Another one detined for Newcastle, this is a georgeous spot that I intend to revisit often. I love the simple composition which has allowed me to just concentrate on the subtle colors of this quiet dawn.

Backlit Beech tree in Bluebell woods

I'm putting three pictures into The Art Works Galleries in New Castle at the end of the month here is their web site http://www.theartworksgalleries.com. The lastest Bamburgh and this one are going, not sure what I'm doing for the third. I've started doing video's again. I'm actually finding myself referring to the little video image on the computer to see if the picture is working or not, how daft is that?

Grosmont woods

I'm quite pleased with this one, it's nice to escape this cold grey weather for a bit.

Bamburgh revisited

I wasn't happy with the last Bamburgh castle so I had another go. The photo isn't the best, I will try and take another when the light is better.

I did a little demo for Scarborough art society last night and this is the result. I think my next big one will be along similar lines.
